I have been watching alot of movies lately on Xbox Live with a few buddies of mine (See My360inLife) and they have actually forced a few onto me which at first I was really worried about. So far though they have been pretty good, aside from me falling asleep a couple of time cause I was tired.
We watched a show last night called SLIDERS which, in short, is about a kid who invents a multidimentional travel device which he uses and things of course don't go exactly to plan. A few of the dimension he visits in the pilot episode included opposite, ice age, and communist america. The show was actually pretty interesting so if you haven't seen it you should check it out. If you have seen it you could always suggest your favorite episode down in the comments section below.
The show was of course cancelled by fox and because of fan outrage they brought it back, ala Family Guy. Then they cancelled it again after 3 seasons and the Sci-Fi channel picked it up for the final 2 seasons. Well anyways I have to get back to work, see ya laters.
I was hesitant to watch this series when it first came out...but as time passed and the characters were fleshed out it turned into an interesting show. I think that in terms of time/dimensional travel shows go...this show is right up there near the top. If they have them on netflix, Quantum Leap is probably the best example. With the recent popular trend of rejuvenating old tv series' into movie vehicles...perhaps they will bring one of these back into a movie form. But then to think again...maybe it's best to let sleeping dogs lie...and not screw up a good thing...i.e. : Will Smith's Wild Wild West and a few others that escape my memory.
