After making several hit series such as The Sims and SimCity, creator Will Wright wants to tell stories, but not in the medium we would think that he would be most comfortable with, video games.
Games are meant to allow people to "create their own stories," Wright said. When questioned by CNN about titles like Grand Theft Auto and Metal Gear Solid, Wright had mixed feelings. "What I enjoy about GTA is going out and creating my own story," hinting to skipping the main story line, and then stated about the popular MGS series "That's not the kind of game I like playing."
Wright is currently develpoing a new TV series that allows people to go online and vote for the plot. It premired last Friday on the Current TV network.
