Join the Brotherhood

So recently I have been away working two jobs now, Gamestop and Reliance, and I have been basically swamped with finals at Edison. I apologize to the very few of you who may have been following my blog but hope that I can keep this train a rollin'.

I just recently bought Assassin's Creed Brotherhood for the Xbox 360 and all I have to say is wow. The game picks up after Assassin's Creed 2 and places you back in the shoes of Ezio. You find your villa under attack by the Borgia and both your Uncle and the piece of Eden have been captured. The game continues on allowing Ezio to rebuild the brotherhood of assassins. Along with the help of Leonardo Da Vinci, who in this game plays a pretty minimum part in comparison to the second game, and another famous historical figure Machiavelli the assassins slowly start to become another fierce fighting force in Italy (Rome).

Here is a list of some of the new additions:
  • Recruit new assassins into the guild and call them into battle with you.
  • Guild challenges for the Assassins, Courtesans, Thieves, and Mercenaries.
  • Double assassinations at once.
  • You can now shoot poison darts.
  • Several new weapons including the all new crossbow.
  • New online multiplayer mode.
To finish here I will just talk a bit about the new multiplayer experience. Let me first say that this multiplayer is unlike anything I have ever played before. Forget Call of Duty and Halo for a second, those games mainly focus on a fast paced sense of warfare. In AC:B the key is to assassinate a designated target as stealthy as you can whilst not being assassinated yourself. The great thing about this online multiplayer is that an indicator lets you know how many assassins are currently looking for you but it does not actually tell you what they look like, which makes you constantly on your guard looking for imperfections in character movement or something suspicious. The multiplayer is by far probably one of the most enjoyable I have played on the Xbox 360.

Multiplayer features:
  • Many unique playable characters including an executioner, barber, and doctor.
  • 50 advancement levels, each including a unique upgrade to the player.
  • Customized character sets including kill streaks and death streaks.
  • Free For All, Team-Based, or 2v2v2 game modes.
  • Free Animus 1.0 update.
  • Amazingly detailed maps.
  • And much more.
Over all I would rate Assassin's Creed Brotherhood a 9.5/10

Also as a bonus, don't forget to try out the free to play Assassin's Creed Project Legacy game on Facebook which allows you to unlock items for free for the single player campaign.
